SPIDER-MAN
ORIGIN
When Peter Parker was bitten by a spider irradiated during a laboratory demonstration, his life was forever changed, for the spider’s abilities somehow were transferred into him: he gained superhuman strength, unparalleled agility and a mysterious danger-warning spider sense. Realizing that he must use his newfound powers responsibly, Peter adopted the costumed identity of Spider-Man. Ever since, Spidey has waged a one-man war against crime in his never-ending effort to protect society from the ravages of evil.
