First Trailer for Marvel’s Inhumans

The first full trailer for Marvel’s Inhumans television series has been released and can be seen below. Marvel’s Inhumans will premiere on the ABC network on September 29, 2017. In addition to the series’ fall TV debut, the first two episodes will premiere on more than 1,000 IMAX screens on September 1, 2017 and run for two weeks. This will be the first time a television series premieres in IMAX theaters.

The new Marvel television series which will run for eight episodes, stars Anson Mount (as Black Bolt), Iwan Rheon (as Maximus), Serinda Swan (as Medusa), Eme Ikwuakor (as Gorgon), Isabelle Cornish (as Crystal), and Ken Leung (as Karnak). The series revolves around an isolated community of superhumans fighting to protect themselves.

The Inhumans, created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby, first appeared in the pages of Marvel Comics’  Fantastic Four #45, published December 1965. The characters are granted extraordinary powers through a substance called the Terrigen Mist. The complexity of the Inhumans’ powers are best exemplified through their king, Black Bolt, who can level an entire city with just a whisper.

“Black Bolt is a character whose deep complexity must be conveyed without uttering a single word,” explained executive producer Scott Buck in a press release earlier this year.

The first two episodes of Marvel’s Inhumans will be screened in IMAX theaters on September 1, 2017 and run for two weeks. The eight-episode series will then premiere on the ABC network on September 29, 2017.
